Hot Metal Bridge is hosting a yard sale to benefit The Brashear Association on June 8th 2013!

You are welcome to rent a 6 foot table for $15 to sell your junk, treasures, artwork, or whatever you'd like! Table rental fee goes directly to Brashear Association and you get to keep your profits!

You are also welcome to come SHOP for goodies, HELP us run the donation table, or DONATE* goods to sell to benefit Brashear!

Red Cross Blood Drive

Friday, May 31 from 2-7pm

The American Red Cross will hold a zombie-themed blood drive at the Hot Metal Bridge Faith Community on Friday, May 31 from 2-7pm.

Those who want to schedule an appointment in advance are encouraged to call 412-481-4010 or register online here. Walk-in donations will be gladly accepted as well.

The donation process consists of four easy steps: registration, a confidential screening of your medical history followed by a mini-physical, donation, and refreshments. The actual donation takes about ten minutes.

 
We chose a zombie theme to build on the success of the vampire-themed drive we hosted in October. Once again, volunteers will be dressed up and the room decorated but this time the George Romero classic Night of the Living Dead will be screened instead of vampire movies, and donors will enter a raffle to win a variety of prizes celebrating Pittsburgh’s zombie culture!

Joy Ike will headline the Hot Metal Hullabaloo

Joy Ike and her band will headline the Hot Metal Hullabaloo on Saturday, April 20!

This fun evening of food, drinks, and live music will also feature a silent auction of unique items and all proceeds will support The Table, the homeless ministry, and ASL interpretation at our 11:30am worship gathering.
